Williams ‘touch and go’ for Morecambe with hamstring injury

-

JORDAN Williams is ‘touch and go’ for tomorrow’s game at Morecambe.

The right-back missed Saturday’s draw at Bolton Wanderers with a hamstring issue.

Head coach Michael Duff said: “He is touch and go. If he doesn’t play on Saturday, he should definitely be ready for Tuesday (when the Reds host Lincoln).”

James Norwood is suspended for Barnsley after collecting a fifth League One yellow card on Saturday.

Jordan Helliwell and Matty Wolfe are longer-term injuries.

Duff said they would both be out for ‘about a month.’

Conor McCarthy and Luke Thomas are both out with long-term injuries until 2023.
