Williams in contention but others ‘bit off’

-

JORDAN Williams could return to the Barnsley squad tomorrow against Forest Green Rovers.

The right-back came off at halftime in the 2-0 loss to Exeter City three weeks ago with a hamstring issue and has missed the next three matches. Head coach Michael Duff said: “He’s back in training and we’re hoping he’s going to be available in some way. He’s had a tiny niggle in there. He had a scan which didn’t show a lot. It was a seven to ten day injury. On day ten, he felt something not right.”

Duff said Matty Wolfe and Jordan Helliwell could possibly be back at the end of November but added that they are ‘a good bit off.’
