ENTERTAINMENT at the Proud of Barnsley awards night will come from top local band Hot Fuss.
They are a five-piece energetic indie pop band who perform crowd pleasers by the likes of The Killers, Pulp, Kings of Leon and Oasis.
They have a massive following in clubland and are used to performing at sold-out venues.
They’ve been together almost 15 years and bass player Michael Sagar knows all about Proud of Barnsley after his brother Ian was previously nominated for his success as a wheelchair basketball player.
George Lewis of the band said: “It is an honour and privilege to be asked to perform at such an important event. We are excited to hear some amazing stories about the good people of Barnsley.”
