Isabella nets four as Town get first win

ISABELLA Lomas netted a fantastic four in Wombwell Town under 12s’ 8-0 win over Wath Stars.

Lily Johnson scored twice with Abigail Cain and Kayla Lappage also netting.

It was Wombwell Town’s first win of the season, and their first points.

Taylah Sales scored a hat-trick in Dearne and District under 12s’ 6-0 win over Clowne Comets.

Ella Goddard and Poppy Horne also struck.

Dearne are third with four wins and a draw from their five games so far.

Gabriella Cook bagged a brace in Barnsley Ladies under 12s’ 2-1 win over Wickersley Youth.

Barnsley Ladies under 18s White drew 3-3 with Rotherham United.

Libby Ardron, Jodie Gregory and Lexie Self scored.

Barnsley are top of Division Two with five wins and a draw from their six league games played so far this season.

This week was the first time they had dropped any points.

Penistone Church under 18s won 4-1 over Chesterfie­ld. Nicole Shaw scored a hat-trick and Lucy Morgan struck.

Barnsley Ladies under 14s defeated Sheffield United Community 7-0.

That moved them up to fifth with nine points from four games.

Pogmoor under 13s won 3-1 over Middlewood.

The goal-scorers were Emily Biddleston­e, Maisie Mills and Isabelle Munjic.

Pogmoor are now second in

Division Three.

They have won five and drawn two of their seven league matches so far this season.
