Tobias stars as Leaders win six from six
TOBIAS Dachtler scored 34 points as Barnsley Leaders under 11s won all of their six games in the Rotherham Hawks tournament on Sunday.
The side, featuring four boys and two girls, defeated Doncaster Eagles 12-2 and 16-11, Rotherham Hawks A 11-6 and 17-8 and Rotherham Hawks B 11-5 and 8-7.
Dachtler hit two free throws in the final game to clinch the one-point win.
Charlie Jones added 14 points, Brianna Kuywayo 13, Carter Nicoll eight, Leon Pickering two and Alicja Krawczyk also played.
Leaders Rookies had six players playing their first ever game and managed one win and three defeats.
Ben Rook scored four and Charlie Cotton two.
Che Lacona, Olivia Crossley, Seb Cuniliffe, Joseph Kent, Frankie Singleton and Bobbi Marshall also played.
