Tesco bracing for food collections

DECEMBER will see the beginning of the yearly Christmas collection arranged by local Tescos at Stairfoot, Penistone and Hoyland.

Customers who visit these stores will be able to donate items at the entrance which will then be transported to the foodbank and used in parcels made for emergencies.

Businesses, schools and organisations are also welcome to make donations this Christmas and can do so until December 21 – the foodbank can arrange a pick-up slot for those unable to bring their donations to the stores making it accessible for all.
