Memorial Santa Dash is arranged

A POPULAR ‘Santa Dash’ and fun run in memory of a young woman who died of cancer will return this year.

The event will take place on December 3 from 10am at Manvers Lake, and those looking to get involved are asked to meet at the Boathouse.

It’s in memory of Hana Szczepkowski, a 31-year-old Mexborough teacher who lost her life to cancer.

The event is to keep her memory alive and raise funds for the cancer charity Team Verrico who gave her hope and supported her through her illness.
