Show will be a team effort
EMMANUEL Church has partnered up with one of Barnsley’s familiar playwrights to create a production celebrating a charity.
The play, ‘Footsteps’, will mark Exodus’ success since it was formed in 2000 to help children and adults from disadvantaged communities.
Playwright Sylvia Le Breton told the Chronicle:
“The charity is not only funded by larger partnerships but it is also funded by ordinary people.
“It will be great to finally be able to celebrate Exodus this year considering Covid halted our first plans during 2020.
“Exodus do have a really special way of doing things – they also support parents as well as children.”
The play will take place at Emmanuel Church, on Huddersfield Road, from November 17 to 19.
