Victor close to World Cup final
VICTOR Radley – who qualifies for England through his father from Barnsley – will be looking to help them into the World Cup final this weekend.
He is Australia born and bred but converted to play for the country of his father Nigel who is originally from Hoyland. Radley has been a regular in the England team that won their group then beat Papua New Guinea 46-6 in the quarter-final in Wigan on Saturday.
They are now to take on Samoa at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium tomorrow from 2.30pm.
The winners will then face either Australia or New Zealand in the final at Old Trafford a week tomorrow.
