It’s your chance to be a Santa...

BARNSLEY residents are being encouraged to donate gifts to older people who may not otherwise receive a Christmas present this year.

The ‘Be A Santa’ campaign, led by Home Instead, is asking residents to donate items – from toiletries to chocolate – to put a smile on the face of an older person who may feel lonely during the festive period.

People can donate their presents at MKB Solicitors on Huddersfield Road, J Willey and Co Insurance in Cudworth and Barnsley Sea Cadets on Racecommon Road.

At the end of November, all the presents will be donated to charities such as BIADS and Age UK Barnsley.
