Barnsley defeat Mexborough for first winter league victory
BARNSLEY’s A team won 3-1 at home against Mexborough in Division Two of the Sheffield and District Winter League.
It was the town team’s first victory of the winter season.
The players included John Hinds, Kieran Hinds and Rebecca Coe.
Barnsley’s B team lost 4-0 to Mexborough B in Division Four.
The players were Alison Eyre, Gary Maskrey, Ann Gibson and John Gregson. This weekend, the A team visit Brentwood and B team host Moorgate.
