Blood pressure checks

There are free blood pressure on Mondays from 9am-1pm at Goldthorpe Library. Drop in anytime between 9.30am-12.30pm.

Fair

Cherry Tree Court at Saltersbook, Goldthorpe, will be hosting a Christmas Fair on November 30 at 10am. Everyone welcome.

Housing Officer

The private sector housing officer is hosting drop-in sessions for tenants, owners and occupiers and landlords at The Salvation Army at Straight Lane in Goldthorpe on the first Monday of every month from 11am-4pm.

Christmas Fair

The Snap Tin Community Hub will present a Christmas Fair on December 2 from 5-7pm at the Astrea Academy Dearne with live music, a Santa’s grotto, balloon modelling, magic show and lots more.

Dearne Playhouse

Tomorrow the Kathryn Downs Academy will be presenting Two Worlds 2022 at 11am and 5pm. On December 2 and 3, the playhouse will present Don’t Stop Believing at 6.30pm. Rapunzel, a family pantomime will be presented on December 15 and 16 at 7pm and on December 17 at 12pm and 5pm and on December 18 at 12pm. On December 22 the Claytons School of Dance will be presenting A Christmas Cracker at 6pm. Tickets are on sale now.

Goldthorpe and District Women’s Institute

A meeting will take place on Monday at 2pm at the parish rooms on Lockwood Road, Goldthorpe. There are varied speakers, social events and good company. New members are welcome. For more details call 01709889427.
