Teenager injured in stabbing incident

A TEENAGE boy was stabbed in Thurnscoe last week.

It’s reported that just before 4pm on Friday, a teenager was stabbed on Lorne Road.

A police cordon was in place for the majority of the evening whilst officers conducted their investigat­ion.

A spokespers­on said: “Police received a report at 4pm on Friday, November 18.

“It was reported that a teenage boy had been stabbed with a knife on Lorne Road.

“He was taken to hospital, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatenin­g.

“Officers attended and are continuing with enquiries to establish what happened.”
