PLANS to build a bungalow in

We’ve even bought our own pump and pump water out from the floor on a daily basis. We have no flooring and we can’t renovate because it will continue flooding – we’re sat on little chairs in the living room with nothing else.”

A spokesperson from Yorkshire Water added: “As soon as we were made aware of the problem we visited the property to investigate – we cleared a blockage of silt and mud from the surface-water sewer and visited a number

“Any water on the property is a private issue – usually dealt with through the homeowner insurance.

“However, we know that this type of issue can be distressing and as a goodwill gesture we have offered to contribute towards costs to resolve the problem.”
