Fisher bags brace in 4-3 away victory for Junior Tykes

JUNIOR Tykes under 14s won 4-3 at Rawmarsh St Joseph’s.

After falling behind to a controversial penalty, Charlie Latham and man of the match Lewis Towers made it 2-1 to the Tykes at the break.

Rawmarsh levelled but Dylan Fisher’s brace made it 4-2 then the Tykes survived a late scare with Mason Coles and Lewis Robertshaw heroic at the back.

Dodworth under 14s won 5-0 at Sheffield Allstars. The scorers were Ronnie Wilkes, twice, Charlie Maxfield, Harry McManus and Alfie Dey.

Staincross Rangers under 14s triumphed 5-2 at Wisewood.

Kayden Gomersall struck twice with Jake Bennett, Drew Moss and Freddie Steer also netting.

Wombwell Town under 14s beat

Pinfold Pumas 2-1. The scorers were Matthew Huxley and Nathan Martin.

Dodworth under 14s Red drew 3-3 with Chesterfield.

Sonny Boreham, Dan McKenning and Tommy Turner scored.

Redfearns under 14s won 2-1 at Worksop. Reuben Jeffries and Archie Lusha netted.

Penistone Church under 16s defeated Ecclesfield Red Rose 2-1. Robert Hall and Harry Lodge got the goals.

Hoyland Town under 16s drew 2-2 with Rawmarsh St Joseph’s. Davey Cook and Caleb Miller netted.

North Gawber under 15s defeated Eckington 4-3. Rhys Watson bagged a brace with Raul Breha and James Smith also on target.

Wombwell under 15s beat Sheffield Steelers 3-1. Ronnie Dixon, Ben Dryden and Noah Miller scored.

Hoyland Common under 15s won 1-0 at Thorncliffe. Caiden Chadburn struck.

Penistone Church under 15s drew 1-1 at Maltby.

Pogmoor under 13s enjoyed a 4-0 victory at Baslow. Lucas Reed struck twice with Alfie Hickey and Alfie Townsend also on target.

Redfearns under 13s won 5-1 over Maltby. Riley Hall and Lewis Moore bagged braces with Oliver Boast also netting.

Ward Green under 13s defeated New Bohemians 3-2. Jake Harrison scored twice and George Robinson once.

Hoyland Commons Falcons under 12s drew 2-2 at Bramley Sunnyside.

Penistone Church under 12s Black beat Worksop Pumas 11-1.

Penistone Church under 12s White won 4-2 over Aston Swallownest.

There was a 1-0 victory for Hoyland Town under 12s over Ecclesall Rangers.

Wath Stars under 12s drew 3-3 with Brampton.

Elsecar Main under 12s drew 4-4 at Crosspool. The scorers were Jack Lumb, twice, Lucca Ciampricotti and George Taylor.

Dodworth MW under 12s played out a 1-1 draw with Kiveton.

Athersley Rec under 13s Black won 3-2 at Dearne and District, Wombwell Town Black triumphed 4-2 at Pogmoor and there was a 6-0 victory for Athersley Rec Orange at Wombwell Town Red.

In the under 12s, North Gawber beat Dearne Dragons 4-1, Worsbrough United Green won 9-1 at Wombwell

Main, Worsbrough United Gold saw off Wombwell Town 3-0 and Dale Juniors gained a 4-3 success at Upton.

Brierley Cubs under 12s beat Royston 6-0. Junaid Brailsford hit a hat-trick, Josh Thrall added two and Rhys Gannon netted one.
