Guest treble in Dearne victory

NICHOLAS Guest was the hat-trick hero as Dearne and District won 5-2 at home to Harworth Colliery.

Joseph Austin and Christopher Wood also netted for Dearne, who had surged into a 4-0 lead then conceded from two second half penalties either side of their fifth goal.

Dearne captain Austin had to leave the pitch with a suspected dislocated shoulder.

Dearne are now third with 25 points from 12 games, having won eight, drawn one and lost three.

They have won back-to-back games after four matches without a victory.

Their next league match is at bottom club AFC Phoenix on December 10.
