Fitness is boosted

A PROJECT to boost kids’ fitness levels in Grimethorpe has engaged dozens of participants.

A report from the North East Area Council reveals its ‘Fit Kids’ sessions – held at New Options, a gym off St Luke’s Road – proved to be a hit during the summer holidays.

A fee of £1 per child was charged for the bootcamps, which saw 45 attend.
