Councillor quitting

ANOTHER long-serving councillor has announced she will step down.

Cabinet member Jenny Platts has represented the St Helen’s ward for 15 years but will not stand for re-election in May.

Other veteran councillors, Charlie Wraith and Chris Lamb, will also leave the council.
