Slides are performed by playing the first note then sliding the fretting finger up to the second note trillS Trills are performed by rapidly alternating between the two notes shown using hammer-ons and pull-offs

vibrato

The pitch of the note is altered by repeatedly bending the string up and back with the fretting finger
