Acoustic Amplifiers have

announced new C-Series B300C and B600C bass combos, Class-D units that deliver 300 and 600 watts respectively. The B300C features a 15” ferrite speaker paired with a piezo horn tweeter, while the B600C has two custom-voiced 10” ferrites along with the tweeter. Both can be used to drive additional external cabinets or as a tilt-back wedge for monitoring. EQ-wise, the B300C offers a five-band EQ, a Shape switch with a variable notch filter to dial in midrange tones, and a Blendable Overdrive circuit that allows the player to mix clean and overdriven sounds. The B600C has the same features but with a six-band graphic EQ plus Hi and Low EQ controls. Switchable compression, Super-Hi and Super-Low EQ boosts and a direct XLR output are featured too.
