EXERCISE TWO

There are a number of different ways to visualise and approach the altered scale. One is to think of it as a major scale with the tonic raised by a half-step, another is to simply play the root note, then move up a half-step and deliver the melodic minor scale. Exercise 2 demonstrates this in practice.
