Some inspiring success stories have been brought to light throughout this year’s Bath Business Awards campaign. The awards, which take place next month, will bring together some of the biggest employers and best start-ups in Bath – offering phenomenal networking opportunities to everyone involved. Entries have been of an outstanding quality this year, once again confirming that the city has a flourishing commercial scene. This week, our judges met at The Bird - formerly the County Hotel in Bath for the tough task of whittling down the entrants to a shortlist of 30 finalists. The panel assessed the myriad of entries and each put forward their shortlists before the final selection was decided by a vote. Bath Chronicle editor, Gavin Thompson, said: “Entries for this year’s Bath Business Awards were of an extremely high calibre. The strong quality and depth in the small business category is worth special mention and reflects the fact that Bath has such a vibrant independent business scene. “Choosing our finalists has been particularly challenging, and those which have made the list should rightly feel proud. I hope some of those who haven’t made the shortlist this time will still join us to celebrate the business in the city as a whole next month. “The event is now in its eighth year and yet we never fail to be impressed by the successes celebrated by local firms. “It signifies another very positive 12 months for the city’s vibrant business economy.” The Bath Business Awards black tie dinner takes place at the Bath Pavilion on November 27.
