Property firm helping farm to grow
Staff at a property firm will be fundraising for Bath City Farm over the next 12 months as their new charity of the year. HPH Commercial Property in Kingsmead Square will hold a range of activities to support the farm as well as offering practical help through advice and expertise. Based in Whiteway, Bath City Farm has grown significantly since it started in 1990 and is now home to 100 animals who are looked after by 12 members of staff and more than 50 volunteers. The community farm delivers 15 different projects based around horticulture, animal care and cookery, supporting disadvantaged and disabled people to develop new skills and confidence. Lindsay Holdaway, managing director of HPH said they were looking forward to working with the farm. The farm’s general manager Helen Fisher added that the support from businesses helps “keep them going”.
