Real effects from air zone and ‘litter police’

I am beginning to wonder if Cllr Bob Goodman is in a parallel universe or something. I’m just curious exactly where the positive reaction to his ridiculous air zone proposal is, all I have seen to date has been pretty negative, pointing out the incredibly obvious flaws. It’s almost scary, that this man is so delusional, that he doesn’t want to listen to any contradictory opinions, or rectify the plan so that it might have a minute chance of success. Here in Weston we eagerly await the inevitable increase in traffic as people avoid the overly large zone... which Bob still believes won’t happen! With regard to his other halfbaked scheme, the litter police, Pembrokeshire recently let them loose and all of the warnings have come to pass. They are making no difference whatsoever to litter, just handing out fines like confetti, always soft targets, regardless of whether an actual offence has occurred. It’s all about revenue, targets and bonuses and nothing to do with litter. You have been warned .... John Chapman Weston
