Burgeoning academy’s new sponsor
The thriving Team Bath Buccaneers Junior Hockey Academy has announced a sponsorship deal with GGR Communications, a West Midlands-based managed services provider. Buccs boast one of the largest junior programmes in the country with more than 800 members. The 19 teams that represent the University of Bath-based Junior Academy every week will wear kit bearing GGR’S logo, and signs have been installed at the two allweather hockey pitches at the Sports Training Village. Toby Blong, Team Bath Buccaneers’ Junior Academy director, said: “GGR Communications is well-known for its provision of critical infrastructure to some of the country’s leading sporting venues, and we are proud to have secured sponsorship from one of the country’s leading organisations as we look ahead to another successful year.” Adrian Clinton-watkins, managing director at GGR Communications, added: “We are very pleased to support Team Bath Buccs Junior Academy, one of the region’s most exciting sports clubs, and look forward to playing our part in their continuing success.” For more information about Team Bath Buccaneers, one of dozens of community clubs based at the Sports Training Village, visit www.teambathbuccaneers.co.uk.
