Commane joins Team Bath
After helping two teams reach finals in her native Australia this year, new recruit Kim Commane is determined to go one step further when she lines up for Team Bath Netball in the 2019 Vitality Superleague. The 30-year-old, a specialist shooter, will bring bags of experience to the Blue & Gold having won the 2009 World Youth Championships with Australia under-21s and played professionally down under. Her club career began with New South Wales Swifts in the ANZ Championship and then with Melbourne Vixens in Suncorp Super Netball. “When Team Bath approached me about coming here, I jumped at the chance,” said Commane, pictured right. “My husband and I spoke about coming to England a couple of years ago but it proved too difficult to get sorted at the time, so I am very happy to finally be here. “I’ve had a really good year on the court. Now I’ve had the opportunity to come to Team Bath – hopefully I can not only make the finals here but take the title as well.”
