The Croquet Association have announced that the Apps Memorial Bowl for the most improved AC player of the year has been awarded to Bath Croquet Club’s Daniel Gott. These have resulted in a handicap reduction to -1.5 and a world ranking of 71st. The CA have also asked the Bath club to host a number of National tournaments at the Rec in 2019. The club will be hosting the AC Selectors Tournament, with top players from around the country competing, at the end of August. They will also be holding a round of the GC B Level in July, the area final of the GC All England Handicap in August and the final of the GC Grass Roots competition in September.
