Bath Chronicle - - NEWS -

A renewed appeal has been issued by police in an effort to track down a man officers would like to talk to about an assault in Trowbridge. Wiltshire Police said a 43-yearold woman was walking in the area of Castle Street near to the Kings Arms pub when she became aware of a group of men who she did not know started shouting abuse at her. The force said that when the woman took out her mobile phone to take a picture of the men involved, they assaulted her by pulling her hair and kicking her. They attempted to grab her mobile phone, which was damaged during the incident. She was then taken to hospital in Trowbridge. A police spokesman added: “It is believed there were approximately 10 males in the group, and it is thought they are Polish.” PC Scott Ranachan said: “We have been carrying out extensive enquiries into this incident since we received the report but unfortunately have been unable to identify those involved.”
