Robins prospect Hinds comes in as Efete departs

-

Michee Efete will not be returning to Bath City on loan after he joined National League South rivals Billericay Town. The right-back, who worked with Romans chief Jerry Gill at Norwich City, was a pre-season trialist at Twerton Park before joining National League maidstone United. But he returned to the Romans on loan in October and largely been a mainstay since. However, he has instead signed a permanent deal with Ricay running until the end of next season. “We wish Michee all the best,” said Gill. “I’d like to go on record as saying I’ve really enjoyed working with him, I’ve known him a long time. “The reason he’s gone there is because it’s 40 minutes from his house; he lives in Hackney. “He’s got a deal for this year and next year and he’s been looked after by Dean [Brennan] down there. He’s going to a good manager with a good assistant manager.” The Romans have brought in striker Freddie Hinds from Bristol City, the youngster making his debut at Slough Town in midweek. John Mills has joined Midland Premier League side Westfields on loan until the end of the season, while James Morton will wear Mangotsfield United colours in Southern League Division 1. Gill and football chairman Paul Williams will be taking questions from fans at a Meet the Manager evening on Monday. The talk will take place from 7.30pm in the John Reynolds Lounge at Twerton Park with all supporters welcome.
