Robins prospect Hinds comes in as Efete de­parts

Michee Efete will not be re­turn­ing to Bath City on loan af­ter he joined Na­tional League South ri­vals Billericay Town. The right-back, who worked with Ro­mans chief Jerry Gill at Nor­wich City, was a pre-sea­son tri­al­ist at Tw­er­ton Park be­fore join­ing Na­tional League maid­stone United. But he re­turned to the Ro­mans on loan in Oc­to­ber and largely been a main­stay since. How­ever, he has in­stead signed a per­ma­nent deal with Ricay run­ning un­til the end of next sea­son. “We wish Michee all the best,” said Gill. “I’d like to go on record as say­ing I’ve re­ally en­joyed work­ing with him, I’ve known him a long time. “The rea­son he’s gone there is be­cause it’s 40 min­utes from his house; he lives in Hack­ney. “He’s got a deal for this year and next year and he’s been looked af­ter by Dean [Bren­nan] down there. He’s go­ing to a good man­ager with a good as­sis­tant man­ager.” The Ro­mans have brought in striker Fred­die Hinds from Bris­tol City, the young­ster mak­ing his de­but at Slough Town in mid­week. John Mills has joined Mid­land Premier League side West­fields on loan un­til the end of the sea­son, while James Mor­ton will wear Man­gots­field United colours in South­ern League Divi­sion 1. Gill and foot­ball chair­man Paul Wil­liams will be tak­ing ques­tions from fans at a Meet the Man­ager evening on Mon­day. The talk will take place from 7.30pm in the John Reynolds Lounge at Tw­er­ton Park with all sup­port­ers wel­come.
