PLAYER RATINGS

-

6 Jacques van Rooyen Scrummaged pretty well in the first half and after coming back on in added time when the yellow cards were being brandished.

6 Tom Dunn Made plenty of tackles, didn’t have much of an attacking impact.

7 Henry Thomas Scrummaged well, won a jackal penalty and was keen to get his hands on the ball again. Steadied the ship at the end along with the other front-row starters.

5 Charlie Ewels Missed a number of tackles and was quiet before taking a heavy blow to the head.

6 Dave Attwood A big defensive shift but gave away a couple of penalties. Didn’t get much ball.

6 Tom Ellis Didn’t touch the ball before being replaced with what looked like an arm injury.

5 Francois Louw Very quiet compared to the last couple of weeks. Worcester did a very good job of keeping him away from the ball at the breakdown.

7 Zach Mercer Bath’s liveliest forward. Made 82m, scored a try and was high on the tackle count. Possibly tried too hard at times. Sometimes teammates were in better positions for the pass.

6 Will Chudley (c) Didn’t have snap of previous weeks, but Worcester’s gang tackling and counterrucking meant ball was a lot slower. Box-kicking hit and miss.

7 Freddie Burns Three or four nice touch-finders and a couple of pinpoint crossfield kicks. Perfect from the tee. Some kicks from hand weren’t as well placed and struggled to get players outside firing.

7 Cooper Vuna Looked lively when the ball came his way. Took a crossfield kick and combined well with James Wilson when the full-back thought he had scored in the first half.

7 Jamie Roberts Some big carries and big hits again from the inside centre.

6 Max Wright A quiet one from the 21-year-old, who rarely touched the ball but made his tackles.

7 Semesa Rokoduguni Ran his heart out and had some joy but was well shackled by the Worcester defence.

6 James Wilson Looked good with ball in hand but his punts often found Worcester hands.

Replacements 2 Ross Batty – Sent off. Bath had a great attacking position when he neck-rolled Sam Lewis. 5 Lucas Noguera – Sin-binned in added time. 4 Max Lahiff – Knocked on, gave away penalties and sin-binned for killing the ball. 5 Rhys Priestland – Missed several tackles and looked rusty with ball in hand. 5 Aled Brew – Put in some big hits. His last one was from an offside position as Worcester looked for the winning try and he was shown a yellow card. Elliott Stooke – 6, Josh Bayliss – 6.
