Plea in food truck theft

-

A family are urging the public to come forward with information after their food truck was stolen near Mcdonald’s in Twerton.

Georgina, 24, from Bath, said her father’s catering business, Twisted Indian Street Eats, operates from the food truck, and the business has been on hold since the theft.

The food truck is a converted horsebox, which has been refurbished and has customised green and white paintwork.

Georgina reported that it was stolen at 9.30pm on Wednesday 6 February by a bronze Honda HRV by the Mcdonald’s on Lower Bristol Road.

She added “It’s super sentimental to us, all of the renovations have been done by hand, and this is our livelihood.

“We have events coming up that we’re already booked for, and we need the food truck back.”

Police say they are investigating the theft.
