Norland College among top 10pc in student study
One of the smallest institutions in the UK has reached the top 10 per cent for student satisfaction in the 2019 National Student Survey (NSS), the benchmark for measuring the quality of universities from the students themselves.
Bath-based Norland College, one of the only specialist early years education institutions in the UK, saw a significant increase in student satisfaction, jumping to a rating of 95 per cent, ranking it amongst the top in the country.
The college scored significantly above average in most categories, including teaching, resources, opportunities and feedback. The response rate by students was 99 per cent, way above the national average of 72 per cent.
The NSS result follows an exciting year for the college, which has been providing bespoke early years higher education for 127 years.
In June, Norland once again achieved a Gold TEF rating - the highest standard possible - in the national Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework assessment of undergraduate teaching.
