Twerton plans offer amazing opportunity

Those of you who’ve been to Twerton will know the sense of community we have here. We love being based here because of the deeprooted community spirit.

We band together and support each other in the good times as well as times of need.

We’re faced with an amazing opportunity to positively transform the high street area and so are writing collectively as Twertonians to show our support for the regeneration plans for the high street and football club.

As proud as we are of Twerton, we also know that it needs investment to really meet its potential.

The redevelopment is offering us the chance to show people what we can offer, and that we aren’t Bath’s ‘disadvantaged’ area.

We are the home of hard-working and strong-minded people, young and old, who won’t accept this title and have much more to give. We’re fed up of people talking about Twerton for its failures rather than its successes.

That’s why we want to put on record our support for investment in our neighbourhood through the redevelopment of Twerton High Street and Twerton Park and look forward to the benefits it can bring not only for our area but for all of Bath.
