Bible charity founder marks big milestones

-

The founder of a Christian charity has passed the milestone of having distributed more than 100 million items of Bible literature over 40 years.

Since beginning his work four decades ago, Robert Hicks has founded the Bible Trust with Trevor Dolby to advance the Christian faith by creating and distributing contemporary Christian literature in traditional and digital formats.

Recently, two 40-foot containers full of Bible educational resources were sent free of charge to Africa, with a value of more than

£1 million.

Robert has lived in Bath for 35 years and has been publishing Christian literature for 40 years.

He has distributed over 100 million units worldwide, including 10 million Bible Gospels at the turn of the Millennium in 2000.

Robert has a passion for reading and understanding the Bible, which comes from learning to read as a teenager by copying out the King James Bible. The trustees gathered to celebrate the 40th year of sending out

Bible resources. They are Robert Hicks, Annabelle Hicks, Trevor Dolby, Graham Barber and Paul Bennett.
