Theatre joins the shutdown
The Theatre Royal Bath has closed until at least the middle of April following Government advice to help slow the spread of coronavirus.
The theatre says all shows in the Main House have now been cancelled up to and including Saturday, April 11, and in the Ustinov Studio until May 9.
The decision means this week’s
Band of Gold, then subsequently
What’s in a Name?, Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story, The Tempest and
Testmatch will no longer be happening in the Ustinov Studio.
Box office staff are in the process of contacting ticketholders. They are entitled to a full refund or a credit note and are being asked to consider making a donation.
The box office is still taking bookings online or by phone for all shows from April 14.
Theatre management are urging the public to help keep the venue afloat by not receiving a refund for cancelled performances and continuing to book for upcoming events.
