Discover magical world of top author Kate

An Australian best selling children’s author is coming to Bath.

Kate Knapp is acclaimed as a modern day Beatrix Potter and her Ruby Red Shoes books are international best sellers in Australia, New Zealand, China, Spain and South Korea.

Kate is coming to Bath on Sunday, March 22, (Mother’s Day) and will be at the Waterstones bookstore at 3pm for a reading and book signing

Children will receive badges, postcards, colouring-in items and calico bags.

Ruby Red Shoes was created by Kate, pictured, from her own experiences.

Kate’s gentle hare character of Ruby is an inspiration for young children.

She said: “I was driven to create a character as a gentle friend for children and a beautiful world for people in which to escape.

“A place where magic and innocence are still alive.”
