Police appeal in search for two city students

-

Police are searching for Martin Bowers, who is the second Bath University student to be reported missing in two days.

The 20-year-old, right, is a third-year student, and was last seen in the city around lunchtime on Saturday (September 19).

Officers have urged anyone who sees him to call 999, and say he could be in the Bristol area. He also has links to Staffordshire.

An Avon and Somerset police spokesperson said: “We’d ask Martin if he sees this appeal to make contact with the police just to let us know he is safe and well.

“Anyone who sees Martin should call 999 immediately and give reference number 5220215058 to the call-handler. Alternatively if you know where he may be, call 101 and use the same reference number.”

Martin is described as around 5ft 10in, of large build with ginger hair.

On Monday, Alec Unsgaard, right, who is originally from Sweden, was reported missing. Officers said they were growing increasingly concerned for the Bath’s student’s welfare after he had not been seen since September 18.
