Deliveroo has revealed the most popular dishes requested by people in Bath and when they are most commonly ordered.

As the award-winning delivery service celebrates its fifth birthday in the city, Deliveroo has revealed what Bath locals go for most.

New data from Deliveroo reveals that Friday at 7.01pm is the most popular time for Bath locals to order from Deliveroo.

Further data has shown locals love Greek food the most, followed by Japanese and Mexican.

The most popular dishes are:

■ Chicken Gyros Pita Wrap from Taka Taka

■ Katsu Curry (Chicken) from Wagamama

■ Chicken Tinga Burrito from Mission Burrito

■ Pizza 2 from Franco Manca

■ Boneless Banquet Box Meal from KFC

Since its launch in the town five years ago, more than 110 restaurants have signed up to the platform.

Deliveroo says it has created work for more than 220 people, with the majority of these being their riders.

The delivery service said it supports local businesses in Bath, with 60 per cent of its restaurant partners being local independent restaurants, creating new revenue streams for homegrown culinary talent.

Harrison Foster, regional director for Deiliveroo in the UK, said: “Our whole team here at Deliveroo are delighted that our rapid growth in Bath over the past five years means that customers have more choice, restaurants are able to increase their revenue, and riders have the opportunity to choose well-paid, flexible work.”
