College confirms coronavirus case

A case of coronavirus was confirmed at Bath College last Wednesday.

The college, on Avon Street, has said that all relevant people including close contacts are selfisolating and that they have had no other reported cases as yet.

In a statement, the college said: “We have been informed of a single positive Covid-19 case at Bath College’s City Centre campus.

“Currently this occurrence has been contained, the relevant people including close contacts are self-isolating and there are no other reported cases at this time.

“The individual concerned is well and recovering at home.”

The statement continued: “If you have any queries or concerns, please contact the College on covid@bathcollege.ac.uk.”
