Woman sought over theft from 81-year-old

CCTV footage has been released after a purse was stolen from an 81-year-old woman’s handbag.

Officers want to trace the woman seen in the video after the theft at The Card Factory in Bath at about 2pm on Tuesday, September 1.

Avon and Somerset police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

A force spokesperson said: “We’re releasing CCTV footage of a woman we’d like to speak to in connection with the incident. She’s described as being around 5ft 7in tall with dark hair.

“If you recognise her or have any information that could assist our investigation, please call 101 quoting reference 5220199188.”
