RUH trust to hold its first on­line AGM

The Royal United Hos­pi­tals Bath NHS Foun­da­tion Trust will host its first ever on­line AGM on Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 13.

The event, which is be­ing held vir­tu­ally in re­sponse to so­cial dis­tanc­ing guide­lines, will take place from 2pm to 4pm and will be avail­able for any­one to view on the Mi­crosoft Teams video plat­form.

Trust chair Ali­son Ryan said: “This is a fan­tas­tic chance for you to meet our new chief ex­ec­u­tive, Cara Charles-barks, who will be shar­ing the progress we have made over the last year and what the fu­ture might hold for the RUH.

“We will also be up­dat­ing on our fi­nan­cial po­si­tion, our ob­jec­tives and pri­or­i­ties, and the mea­sures we are tak­ing to en­sure the hos­pi­tal is open to treat pa­tients safely dur­ing th­ese chal­leng­ing times.

“It’s your chance to ask ques­tions and learn about the vi­tal work we carry out as an NHS or­gan­i­sa­tion that aims to pro­vide the high­est qual­ity of care to the lo­cal com­mu­nity. You can sub­mit ques­tions to the mem­ber­ship of­fice in ad­vance or you can ask your ques­tions on the day dur­ing the live ques­tion and an­swer ses­sion.

“So get your tea and bis­cuits at the ready and please join us.”
