Buccs fight back to earn draw

Team Bath Buc­ca­neers bat­tled out a 2-2 draw with Chel­tenham in the Women’s Con­fer­ence West on Satur­day.

Amelia Bar­clay and So­phie Byrne struck for the Buc­ca­neers who had trailed twice in the match. The Buccs en­ter­tain Bas­ingstoke this Satur­day.

Else­where in the con­fer­ence, Ais­ling Mad­den hit a brace to fire the Univer­sity of Birm­ing­ham 2s to a 3-1 win over Bris­tol Fire­brands.

Sut­ton Cold­field’s Emma Mccabe, Laura Groves and Susan Wood were on tar­get as they beat Clifton Robin­sons 2s 3-1 away from home. Ox­ford Hawks won 2-0 at home to Bas­ingstoke.

Mean­while, Team Bath Buc­ca­neers men’s team drew 1-1 with Sevenoaks.

Dylan Hol­land scored in the 63rd minute for the Buccs to equalise af­ter the vis­i­tors had scored in the 8th minute.

The Buccs travel to Ox­ford Hawks on Sun­day.
