Bar confirms Covid-19 case among staff

All Bar One in Bath has confirmed it has at least one positive coronavirus infection and another possible case.

The bar on High Street has said that both people are doing well and receiving support.

In a statement, the bar said: “We can confirm that one team member has tested positive for Covid-19 and another is self-isolating as a precaution. Both are doing well and are receiving the relevant support they need.

“We’d like to again reassure our guests we are taking this very seriously and that we are closely monitoring the situation with the team.

“We will continue to follow the latest advice from the Government and can confirm the bar remains open as usual.”

The bar went on to say that it had been “working diligently” to protect guests and make sure their safety is protected.

Guests who may have come into contact with the positive case should be contacted by track and trace, say the bar.

An All Bar One Bath spokesperson said: “We’d like to assure our guests we’ve been working diligently at all times and are taking great care to make sure that their safety and wellbeing, and that of our colleagues, remains at the very forefront of all of our Covid-secure operations.”
