It’s time we started rethinking security

In 2014 a group of individuals and organisations, practitioners and academics, all working on peacebuilding and disarmament, came together at Ammerdown Conference and Retreat Centre, near Radstock.

Their purpose was to discuss how they could help to change the ideas and policies that were constantly perpetuating war and failing to address the security needs of people and planet.

By the end of their two days together they had agreed to found a network that is now known as ‘Rethinking Security.’
