Anglican Church is playing with fire

So, according to J T Hardy, we should have faith in The Anglican Articles Of Religion rather than the Bible. (Bath Chronicle, April 29). What utter humanist nonsense. What JT Hardy argues simply underlines the vast difference between Religion and Christianity. Religion is a business. Just one look at the vast majority of churches and their so-called denominations tells you that.

Not to mention all the pointless versions of the Bible and the sometimes blasphemous commentaries.

Christianity is based upon the KJV Bible which is the inspired Word of God and which blessed people until Westcott and Hort came along.

If people are not willing to repent of their sins then it is impossible to enter into a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Repentance and faith go together because if you believe that Jesus is the Lord Who saves you have a changed mind about your sin.

That is why Jesus Christ himself said in Mark 1:15 “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

What the Anglican Church are doing with their Articles of Religion is messing with fire.

Revelation 22 says “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.

“And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

That is the state of the Anglican

Church today. In the words of 2 Corinthians 6:17 “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”
