Marella Cruises has unveiled seven new UK itineraries for this summer, sailing on family-friendly Marella Explorer from June 25 on round trips from Southampton to new ports of call that include Belfast, Dublin and Liverpool.
Meanwhile, TUI’S adults-only ship, Marella Explorer 2, will offer departures from Newcastle from July 10.
Also, cruise newbies can dip their toe in the water with the threenight Sail the South Coast itinerary in June, visiting Dover for Canterbury Cathedral, and Portland for Abbotsbury Swannery & Gardens.
Among the ports of call on the new Sail the Irish Sea itinerary departing in August will be Liverpool, Dublin and Cobh, while A Taste of the West Coast departing in July, takes in Greenock (for Glasgow), Belfast, Holyhead and Portland.
See Scotland on the British Sights and Seas cruise in July to Invergordon, Kirkwall and Leith, with a visit to Edinburgh Castle, before heading to Newcastle and back to Southampton.
