The Francis Hotel in Bath has announced the appointment of Steven Quick as general manager and central support.

Steven joins the hotel from a role working with Andrew Brownswords Hotels, supporting Abode Hotel Canterbury and The Slaughters in the Cotswolds. He brings a wealth of hospitality experience to the Francis Hotel with him, with previous positions at Hogarth’s, Macdonald Hotels and De Vere Hotels.

Passionate about delivering an unrivalled customer experience, Steven has been instrumental in achieving awards and accolades throughout his career, such as Customer Service Hotel for Great Britain, Best Employer in Hospitality and AA Group of the year.

A successful leader, he has produced fantastic results over the past 25 years through his passionate and progressive approach to hospitality, service and people.

He said: “It is a very exciting time to be joining the team at Mgallery and I very much look forward to working with the central support team and hotel general managers in the ongoing development of the hotels.”

The Francis Hotel is delighted to have been welcoming back guests since 17 May. Set in the heart of Bath, the 98-room boutique hotel was the first UK property to launch as an Mgallery Collection hotel in 2012.

The hotel was first opened by Emily Francis in 1884, a leading entrepreneur of her time, who merged seven Georgian townhouses to form the property standing today.
