Brewer’s new bar tapping into craft beer craze
Craft beer brewer Brewdog has opened a bar in Bath.
The bar opened its doors at noon on Friday (August 20) on St Lawrence Street in the Southgate Centre.
The independent Scottish brewer, founded in 2007, had been searching for a suitable spot to open in the city since 2019.
The bar has promised to offer a trailblazing range of craft beer.
Since its inception, Brewdog has remained at the forefront of the craft beer revolution, and to celebrate arriving in Bath, the first 100 people through the door had with the chance of winning prizes such as year’s supply of beer, gift vouchers and complimentary meals.
The bar has 28 taps of craft beer from Brewdog and curated guest breweries from the UK and beyond, with a takeaway service available.
The bar also serves Hawkes cider, spirits and wine, and coffee from ethical Shoreditch supplier Grind.
Brewdog Bath will offer the brewer’s renowned menu of loaded burgers, buffalo wings and salads,
including their iconic buttermilk fried chicken burger, ‘Cluck Norris.’
Also available will be a weekend brunch menu, Vegan Mondays with a 2-4-1 offer on veggie mains,
and the “infamous” all-you-caneat ‘Wings Wednesday.’
For those looking to take a deeper dive into the world of craft beer, Brewdog Bath will be running
‘Beer School’ sessions - guided tastings led by Cicerone-trained staff, unveiling the flavours and backstories to five beers over a geeky, laid-back couple of hours.
