Grant partners once more

-

Grant UK is pleased to be returning to The Rec to support Bath Rugby as one of their Official Partners.

For several years, Grant UK has supported this local Premiership Rugby club and the company is looking forward to the upcoming seasons, supporting the players during games and helping raising awareness of sustainable heating solutions off the field.

Grant UK’S established association with Bath Rugby started in 2015 and since then both their staff and guests have enjoyed many games, both at home and away, supporting the Blue, Black and White. For the upcoming 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons, Grant UK will be an Official Partner of Bath Rugby, with their logo featuring on the players’ shirts.

With the home of Bath Rugby so close to Grant UK’S head offices, supporting this local Premiership team and its wider work in the local community closely aligns with Grant UK’S own values.

As an Official Partner, Grant UK will also work with the club to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability. More people and businesses are becoming aware of their carbon footprint and are looking at ways in which they can reduce their impact on the environment.

Grant UK is striving to show homeowners how they can take steps towards a greener future with their home heating systems and with its #Tacklingnetzero campaign with Bath Rugby, it is hoped that a greater understanding of sustainable heating can be shared.

“Everyone at Grant UK is looking forward to what the next season has in store for Bath Rugby,” said Anna Wakefield, head of marketing at Grant UK.

“As an Official Partner of Bath Rugby, we will not only be there to support the players at The Rec, but we also hope to work with the Club off the field. Bath Rugby’s ethos to support homegrown players, back local causes and the development of the women’s game are just some of the ways they are being progressive, and we would like to help them develop new green initiatives, paving the way to make sustainable changes for the future.”

■ AVON RFC have announced the arranging of a friendly against Walcot on Saturday after the planned Walcot 10 competition was cancelled.

The match will take place at Hicks Field, just off London Road in Batheaston, starting at 2.30pm.

The match will also consist of four 20 minute sessions, featuring a mixture of players from both clubs’ first and second team squads.

All current players and any newcomers will be made most welcome as preparations for the new season continue after around 18 months without any competitive action.
