‘Put stop to ring of steel scheme’
Government urged to halt council’s anti-terror plan
An “insane” new visitor attraction has opened in Bath this month and it’s sure to be a hit with all the family.
The creators of Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein have built a creepy attic escape room that brings the novel to life.
Since it threw open its doors on July 19, the terrifying house on Gay Street has pulled in unsuspecting visitors – or should we say victims?
From this week, people can explore Victor Frankenstein’s Lair – an attic “strewn with insane equations, strange artefacts and miscellaneous body parts”.
The clock is ticking with just one hour for you to unlock the mysteries of an unhinged mind and, more critically, your way out.
The Lair is a puzzle-based game perfect for groups or families with older children. Tickets are on sale now and you can find prices at https:// houseoffrankenstein.com/tickets
He needs a minimum of three participants in each group to carry out his vile experiments but can take up to six.
As an introductory offer to celebrate its launch, Escape Room tickets include free entry to Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein.
It is the city’s best-kept secret that Shelley’s literary masterpiece took form here in June 1816.
Now, 205 years on, the house will pay homage to her vision – greeting fans with dismembered limbs, terrifying science experiments and an 8ft animatronic monster.
A whopping four floors of artefacts and interactive rooms await those brave enough to venture inside the attraction.
